International Day of Yoga 2021 in Romania

United in the celebrations of International Day of Yoga 2021, Ambassador Shrivastava has graced the event in Bucharest, where multiple Yoga branches were brought under the same roof. He underlined the importance of practicing Yoga in such trying times as the pandemic, remembering how, besides conventional medicine, more natural ways of regeneration are a must. Moreover, he highlighted the fact that 21st of June was not an accidental choice, but the one day in the year when the Sun spreads its rays in equal measure over the entire Earth, a messenger for balance and equality. Ambassador Shrivastava thanked organizers, instructors and enthusiasts for their undying love and interest in this ancient system of knowledge, urging them to keep spreading this wonderful free gift that India has to offer the world.

A park was the venue of choice for the International Day of Yoga celebrations in Cluj-Napoca on June 26th and 27th. All those interested in enhancing their abilities or discovering the treasures of Yoga practice for the first time joined the event supported by the Embassy of India in Romania, Moldova and Albania. It was the perfect opportunity to enjoy fresh air, open space and a natural environment to connect with the positive energies around. Another event awaits those interested on the 29th of June.

International Day of Yoga celebrations were in full swing in Timișoara as well, this year. In the middle of the nature, connecting to the benevolent energies of Mother Earth, teachers and participants discovered and practiced easy Yoga poses that they can use later on. To enrich the entire experience, some sound therapy was also incorporated.

International Day of Yoga was celebrated successfully in Cluj-Napoca. Respecting current rules and regulations, everyone practiced keeping in mind the wellbeing of their neighbour. Fresh air, exercise and exchanging views on the benefits of Yoga ended a day wisely spent.

International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Roaba de Cultură, Bucharest, on June 25. During the event, those present took part in discussions about self-realization and meditation sessions, practicing basic postures for various chakras and cleaning techniques. Participants also enjoyed Indian classical music.
